About

As a rwandan non-profit-organisation,  we execute developement projects in rural areas. There are currently running projects such as the distribution of bicycles and energy saving stoves. By that, we improve the living conditions of the Rwandan people – focussing particularly vulnerable groups like street children, orphans and widows.

We fight against poverty and for human rights. We support the path to unity and reconciliation in Rwanda after the Genocide of 1994.

Projects

We execute several projects concerning mostly environmental issues and – more important – poverty within rural areas.

In order to face and fight lack of means we work as close as possible with people from the villages and local leaders to know exactly about the present circumstances.

A great deal of our work is distribution projects that run via self-measured micro credit systems. In most cases they are below the general pay scale because we don’t make profit but only cover the recurring costs.

The distributions that we offer saying energy saving stoves or bicycles do not only support needy people enabling them to saving or raising income. A positive outcome for our environment is done by decreasing or even avoiding emissions of greenhouse gases. As a matter of fact the health situation improves due to replaced traditional stoves or ‘three stone fires’.
